Land-based college grants
Each year, land-based colleges in the South East region are invited to apply for grants funded by the South of England Agricultural Society to enrich the curriculum courses they offer.
In previous years, these grants have helped local colleges fund a wide range of initiatives. These include study tours and exchange trips both in the UK and overseas as well as specific module costs, and the creation of new provisions such as a bird of prey complex and a vegetable garden.
Every year, reports on the projects funded by our land-based college grants are displayed in our Countryside Hub at Spring Live!, the South of England Show, and the Autumn Show & International Horse Trials.
Who are the grants for?
The land-based colleges eligible for a grant are:
- Brinsbury College
- Hadlow College
- Sparsholt College
- Plumpton College
- Berkshire College of Agriculture
- Merrist Wood College
How can I apply for a grant?
Anyone who would like to apply for a grant should contact the Charity Support Administrator via education@seas.org.uk.
Colleges are invited to apply for funding in August with the funds awarded in October.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
