Central to the Society’s remit is the provision of educational events, grants and awards for people with an involvement in agriculture, horticulture and other land-based industries in order to support career development in this sector.

Grants for Land-Based Colleges
Every year we offer grants to land-based colleges in the region, to help them enrich their agricultural training curriculum and courses.
Grants for Land-Based Skills & Qualifications
We provide agricultural training grants to allow professionals of any age to achieve land-based skills qualifications and certifications.
Farming Conference
An annual event dedicated to the discussion of topical agricultural issues led by an expert panel and followed by a question and answer session.
Farming Technical Forum
We hold three online technical forums every year for active farmers and growers across the region.
