Animal Adventures
You can meet and learn about many different animals in the Animal Barn (DEFRA Bluetongue restrictions allowing). Admire the different breeds and see what you can find at the Poultry Display. Get involved in our Fun Dog Show which owners can enter on the day, and if you’re in search of the extraordinary, you can visit the alpacas which are always a big hit!
Animal Barn
You can find a range of owners and their livestock, including Dexter Cattle, Jacob Sheep, White Faced Woodlands, Kune Kune Pigs and more in the Animal Barn (DEFRA Bluetongue restrictions allowing). Enjoy meeting the animals and learning about a number of breeds.

Alpaca Display
Due to Bluetongue restrictions we are unable to host the South of England Alpaca Show this year. However, you can still meet some of these charming and friendly creatures. Plus learn how they provide the softest and finest fleeces to the UK fibre industry in the alpaca display.

Poultry Display
Visit the Arun Valley Poultry Fanciers Society who are running an informative display and egg show in the Abergavenny building. Ask questions and talk to the experts to find out more about poultry life. Please note due to Avian Flu restrictions there will not be a full Poultry Show.

Rabbit Display
Come and see a wide variety of breeds of rabbit courtesy of Sussex Coast Rabbit Club. Plus get information on how to care for them – you can even buy a rabbit to take home.

East Sussex Reptile & Amphibian Society
Did you ever wonder how a snake breathes while eating? Or how long a chameleon’s tongue is? Or what is the longest snake in the world? To find out all this and more, come and see the display and learn all this while seeing and handling some wonderful exotic animals in a safe and fun environment with enthusiastic experts who have a real passion for these animals. You can also find out how these animals are helping to advance medicine and technology.

Pygmy Goat Show
Prepare for a heartwarming experience by the endearing personalities and playful antics of pygmy goats.
Judging will begin at 10am on both days with awards from approx. 3.30pm.Â

Watermill Wolves
Meet the famous Watermill Wolves, stars of tv and film – as seen in Vikings, Dracula, Penny Deadful, Lift, Don’t Tell the Bride, Bear Grylls, Vogue and more.
Support their wolfdog rescue and animal therapy team by joining them to meet these beautiful creatures and watch some of their acting tricks and stunts!

Fun Dog Show
(Sunday only)
Bring your dogs to Spring Live! and enter the fun dog show with entry on the day of £2 per dog per class. Rosettes will be awarded for 1st – 6th place with prizes for 1st and 2nd and a trophy for Best in Show. Entries are taken from 10am with judging from 12pm. Click here for the full list of classes.
